Intouchables is a French comedy-drama directed by Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano, released in 2011.

The story is inspired by the life of Philippe Pozzo di Borgo (author of the 2001 book Le Second Souffle), a quadriplegic since 1993, and his relationship with Abdel Yasmin Sellou, his home help, whose roles are played respectively by actors François Cluzet and Omar Sy.

The end credits indicate that 5% of profits from the film will be donated to an association for paralyzed people, Simon de Cyrène1, founded by Laurent de Cherisey.

Synopsis
The film tells the story of the relationship between two men from different backgrounds: Driss, a man of Senegalese origin living in the Paris suburbs, who has just served a six-month prison sentence for a jewelry store robbery, and Philippe, a wealthy quadriplegic, who has hired the first man he meets as a caregiver, even though he has no particular training.
